Overview

Music and sound your film will be remembered for.

Led by composer and founder Aslam Keyi, Midbay's music and audio division writes background scores, programs and arranges songs, records and mixes them, and provides foley, restoration, voice over and dubbing support. If you're a musician, we'll produce the film around your music too.

The score is written to the cut and mixed on the same floor where the film's sound is finished, so music, dialogue and effects land as one soundtrack, not three deliveries.

  • Scores and songs delivered across Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Punjabi and Nepali cinema
  • Recording, mixing and Dolby Atmos delivery under one roof
  • Composer-led, working directly with the director
  • Foley, restoration and dubbing support for the full soundtrack

How we work

Four steps, one team.

  1. 1

    Spot

We watch the cut with the director and decide where music lives and what it needs to do.

  2. 2

    Compose

Themes and cues are written to picture and reviewed as the edit evolves.

  3. 3

    Record

Live musicians, vocalists and orchestras are recorded in studio, with programming where it serves the score.

  4. 4

    Mix

Score and songs are mixed and delivered into the final film mix, in Atmos where required.
