Film Production & Post-Production Studio · Mumbai
A script, an idea, or just the ambition to make your first film. Midbay takes it from there, through production, music and post-production, to a finished film ready for cinema and OTT. One team, under one roof, for over 12 years.
Wherever you're starting
Most people who want to make a film get stuck at the same place: they don't know who to call next. At Midbay, you call one number.
About us
Midbay Productions is a complete film production and post-production studio in Mumbai. For over 12 years, founder Aslam Keyi and his team have delivered cinematic, musical and digital work across the Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Marathi, Malayalam, Punjabi and Nepali industries.
What makes Midbay different is who we built it for: the person with a story and no crew. The entrepreneur who has always wanted to make a film. The writer with a finished script and no idea what happens next. We assemble the team, run the shoot, score the music and finish the film, so you never have to become an industry insider to get your film made.
Who we work with
You don't need industry connections, a crew on speed dial, or a post-production vocabulary. You need a story, and a studio that takes it seriously.
You want to produce your first film but don't know how to assemble a technical and production team. We become that team.
You've built a successful business and always wanted to make a movie, short film or web series. You have the means. We have the industry.
You're a director or writer with a script or concept. We handle production, crew, equipment, music and post so you can focus on the film.
You live abroad and want to produce an Indian film. We're your reliable production partner on the ground in Mumbai.
Stop waiting for a producer to finance you. Launch your own project, and let us build the production around your performance.
You have a strong script and no map from paper to finished film. We draw the map and walk it with you.
Music videos, visual albums, short films and cinematic projects, with production, music and post-production under one roof.
Ready to move from short-form content into films, documentaries or web series? We make the leap with you.
Brand films, documentaries, corporate films and cinematic campaigns, produced to the same standard as our feature work.
You're not in the industry, but you genuinely dream of making a film and are ready to invest in it. This studio was built for you.
What we do
Three departments, one team, no handoffs between vendors. Whatever stage your film is at, the next stage is down the corridor.
We assemble the crew, lock the plan and run the shoot, so your idea becomes footage.
Edit, colour, sound and mastering that turn footage into a film ready for cinema and OTT.
Original score, songs and sound, composed and mixed on the same floor the film is finished on.
Why choose Midbay
We've made the mistakes so you don't have to. Your first film gets the benefit of our forty-odd.
From pre-production to DCP, nothing leaves the building. You deal with one team and one invoice, not six vendors.
Directors, cinematographers, editors, composers and sound designers who have shipped films, not just reels.
A colour-managed, version-controlled pipeline from set to screen, so what you saw on the monitor is what the audience sees.
Every deliverable is built to theatrical and streaming platform specifications, so the film you make is a film that can be released.
Distributors, platforms, talent and vendors across Indian cinema. When your film is finished, we know who should see it.
Schedules are respected and quality is never traded for speed. You get a release date you can plan around.

Founder & Owner, Midbay Productions
Composer, sound designer and producer, Aslam Keyi has spent over 12 years inside Indian cinema, with credits across Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Marathi and Malayalam films, from studio features to independent debuts.
He built Midbay for the people the industry usually keeps waiting: first-time producers, writers with a script, entrepreneurs with a story. Under his leadership, Midbay has grown into a trusted production house known for quality, innovation and getting films finished.
Production partner
Film Production Partner, Midbay Productions
Harish Khan has run productions for some of Hindi cinema's biggest action entertainers. As production head on Heropanti, Baaghi and Munna Michael, he managed the crews, schedules and logistics behind large-scale studio shoots, and brought the same discipline to the first season of the web series Your Honor.
At Midbay he leads film production. For a first-time producer, that means the person planning your shoot has already delivered films at the highest level of the industry, and knows exactly where a budget goes and how a schedule holds.
